After School Sports

The After School Sports Program at Mount Alvernia Academy has been in place for almost thirty years. The Co-directors of the program are the full time physical education teacher and the former physical education teacher who is now a school aide and coach. Faculty members, as well as parents offer assistance on a volunteer basis.

We offer a wide variety of after school sports, including:

Fall

Children's Games	Grades K-2
Soccer	Grades K-2
Cross Country	Grades 3-6
Floor Hockey	Grades 3-6

Winter

Each team has basketball practice once a week with basketball games scheduled with area schools on the weekends. The teams are as follows:

Pee Wee	Grades 1-2
Junior Varsity	Grades 3-4
Varsity	Grades 5-6

Spring

Indoor Soccer	Grades K-2
Children's Games	Grades K-2
Soccer	Grades K-2
Volleyball	Grades 3-6
T-Ball	Grades K-2
Cross Country	Grades 3-6
